Guangxi Normal University

Guangxi Normal University (GXNU), founded in 1932 and located in Guilin, is a key university co-established by China’s Ministry of Education and the Guangxi government. Recognized as a "domestic first-class university", it has three campuses (Wangcheng, Yucai, and Yanshan) spanning 4,000 mu (267 hectares).

With nearly 5,000 faculty and staff (including retirees and adjuncts) and over 38,000 full-time students, GXNU serves a total of 75,000+ students, including part-time, international, and postgraduate learners. It has 205 high-level academic talents and 22 academic schools, offering 75 undergraduate programs.

The university has 7 postdoctoral stations, 10 first-level doctoral programs, 3 professional doctoral degrees, 30 master’s programs, and 26 professional master’s degrees. It boasts 23 national first-class undergraduate programs, 6 Guangxi top-tier disciplines, and 4 ESI top 1% global disciplines.
