Communication University of China Nanjing (CUCN), founded in 2004, is a private university approved by the Ministry of Education. It is also the only application-oriented university specializing in media and arts in Jiangsu Province, seeking to fully exploit its preeminent and educational resources to meet the rapidly growing demand for trained, talented media and art professionals in China.

CUCN is endowed with 1.1 million square meters (273 acres) of land and is known as the most beautiful campus in Jiangsu. CUCN offers four-year programs leading to a bachelor’s degree in more than 50 majors among 12 schools, and its full-time enrollment totaled over 20,000 students. Teachers and students have won more than 1,000 kinds of awards for various professional events at home and abroad.
According to the recent survey conducted by China Higher Education Student Information and Career Center, an institution directly under the Ministry of Education, CUCN ranks among the nation's top 50 most satisfied universities. According to the CUAA-Team of China University Evaluation Report, CUCN ranks first among all art private universities in China and ranks among the top 10 best private universities in China for the second consecutive year.
