Hubei University of Arts and Science

Founded in 1958, Hubei University of Arts and Science(HBUAS) has a history of 67 years. Here we offer the perfect mix of learning facilities and modern architecture in a beautiful landscaped setting. The tranquil atmosphere and beautiful scenery makes it an ideal place for students to study. We now have 60 undergraduate programs, 3 first-level discipline master's degree-conferring entities, and 14 master's degree-conferring entities. Currently, we have over 20,000 full-time students, and 1229 full-time teachers are working in 21 schools and institutes, among whom 228 are professors.

We have strong discipline advantages in Clinical Medicine, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, and Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Language etc.; the Clinical Medicine discipline and Engineering have entered the top 1% of ESI ranking in the world. The affiliated hospital- Xiangyang Central Hospital, the regional medical care center, provides the students with advanced medical facilities to practice and experienced clinical teachers to be supervised.
